(Text box icon) Tap to add a new text block. When you have an open text block, the button "Fonts” will appear. Here you have the option to choose which font set you wish to use in that text block. If you do not select anything, it will automatically use the “Body” font set. (Delete icon) Delete the ENTIRE memory. ((x) icon) Exit memory WITHOUT saving changes. (Save icon) Save the memory.
When you tap the “cirkle with a question mark icon” next to Memory construction on the page, where you are about to create a memory - this information will apper: You have to fill in "Memory Name" - to save the memory. When you tap on a photo in the memory, a new menu will appear, that allows you to replace the selected photo with another photo from the camera, app photo or mobile photo. You also have the option to rotate the photo or remove the photo. If you tap on a photo where there are multiple photos in the row, you also get the option: “Split Row”, which moves the selected photo to a row by itself.
MEMORY DATE When you create a new memory and insert one or more photos in a memory, the memory date will automatically be set to the same date as the photos. You can always choose to set the date manually - by tapping on the date. A window will open, there you can choose to select todays date, another date or a period. If you haven’t included any photos, or manually choose a date, the date will automatically be set to the day you create the memory.
Tags
Tags are an important part of the Life Memories App. Using Tags makes it easy to quickly find the exact memories you are looking for. So, do yourself a favour and start using tags right from the beginning! For example, you create a tag called "Travel" and apply this tag to all your travel memories. When you want to see all your travel memories, you simply select the "Travel" tag, and only the memories with this “Travel” tag will be shown. If you then wish to see only travel memories abroad, you select the tags “Travel” and “Abroad.”. You can also create tags with the names of people you often spend time with and create memories with. If you then wish to see only the memories you have shared with a specific person, simply select the tag with their name, and all the wonderful memories with that person will be displayed.
You create the tags yourself... - so you can name them, exactly as you want them.
There are two kids of Tags: Personal Tags and Book Tags. PERSONAL TAGS: - Can only be seen by you. So if you share a memory or a book with someone and you have used your personal Tags, the recipient will not see your Tags. - Can be used across all your books. So people that might accuse in many of your Memory books, you only have to make a Tag with their name once. BOOK TAGS: - Can only be seen and used in the book you have open. - Can be seen by everyone who as acces to the memory or book. This is smart because, if you create a book that has a completely different purpose than your other books (for example, work-related) where you use some completely different tags, these tags will not be mixed with your other tags.
You sort the tags in groups - so you have a good overview and it is easy to keep track of the tags.
CREATE TAGS: To create tags, open the "Tag page." You can do this in three ways: - Tap the "Find memories by using tags" button at the top of an open book. - Tap Search in the bottom menu bar, then tap the tag icon. - When creating a new memory, tap the "Choose tags" box.
All these options take you to the Tag page, where you can create new tags. To create a new tag, tap the pencil icon in the top right corner. You will then be asked whether you want to create a “Personal tag” or a “Book tag.” (If you are unsure, you can tap “Not now.”) “Personal tags” and “Book tags” have different colors. You can create a new tag group by tapping “Add new group.” Enter the new group name by clicking “New Group” and pressing “Return.” Tag groups can, for instance, be: “Family,” “Friends,” or “Travel.” To add a new tag, tap “New Tag,” enter the name, and press “Return.
FIND MEMORIES BY USING TAGS: When you wish to find a person or something within a specific category, it is easy to use tags. You can open the Tag page in two ways: - Tap the “Find memories by using tags” button at the top of an open book. - Tap Search in the bottom menu bar, then tap the tag icon. Tap the Tag/Tags you wish to search for, press “OK,” and the memories with these tags will be displayed. When you no longer wish to see memories related to all the selected tags, tap (x). If you simply wish to change something in your search, just tap the individual tag you want to remove or add a new one by tapping it.
